Baptism

We are honored to offer your baby or child the sacrament of Baptism.

Families must be registered with our parish to be baptized here. We know this is a mobile area so newly registered parishioners are fine. We need the registration both to ensure we have all relevant information but also so that we can maintain documentation of ongoing sacraments and religious education.

Prior to baptism, families must complete a baptism class. Currently, our Deacon offers these classes.

Parents must also choose Godparents. At least one Godparent must be Catholic and we need an attestation form for the Godparent. This is because your Godparents will play the sacred role of guarding and encouraging your child’s faith, so we want to ensure that the Godparents have a church supporting them as they shepherd your child.

We have many people who are here only temporarily and want to baptize their children. Know that we have worked with many people so if you have extenuating circumstances, contact our office and we will see how we can support you and your family.

Here are the steps to baptize your child:

If you are an adult seeking baptism, contact our office. There is a path for you!
